Ordinary.

A new group exercise session began today at the Y. I picked up a 9:30am cycling class. The schedule is a bit new for Mondays now, but it seemed to work alright today. The time fits in well between school drop-off and pick up for Lilly. My running bud had to sub for another instructor this morning, but I needed to get a run in since my first race of the year is in 2 weeks. It's a half-marathon, and the furthest I have trained on my own so far is 10 miles. So, I got up {reluctantly} at 5:30 am and ran my 5.5 mile loop around our neighborhood lake. It was chilly but not windy. Someday I will be able to shed my hat and cloves. My iPod didn't die on my and my legs felt very rested after a relaxing Sunday off. All in all, it was just an ordinary run, plus the addition a few dear getting a drink out of the flooded marshland that scared me into a much faster pace. If more liquid falls from the sky soon, my path might be impassable. 5.5 miles/44.48

5.5 in 44 minutes?! Dang you speedy little mama! You were seriously cruising! Can't wait till I start getting a little faster. These days I'm thrilled when I break a 10 minute mile! ; )
