Thursday I got in a great 6.2 mile run. My legs felt awesome and my breathing was easy. It's still only 1/2 of what I am supposed to run next Saturday, but I am hoping the other forms of exercise I get will compensate a bit. Here's to wishful thinking!
My goal for my first race of the year is to finish better than my last 1/2. I would like to come in right around 1:50-1:55. My last 1/2 time was 1:58:02. The hubby is running the 10K. We start at the same point then break off somewhere. It will be fun to have him alongside, keeping my pace up for the first couple of miles. He is much faster than I am.
Thursday: 6.2 miles/48.03 minutes
Friday: Boot camp and cycle 13 miles/45 minutes
Saturday: Core conditioning and cycle 16.7 miles/60 minutes
